As my last post said I have been MIA for the last week or so. A love one was lost from our family. Watching him leave us was a moment that has been burned into my eyes ever since. It really made me think about how special life is. I have never felt this kind of loss before and it makes me want to hold on to what I have tighter than ever. You really don't know when it could be ripped from us.
So as we laid him to rest, I grabbed Matt's hand, squeezed a little tighter than normal and thanked him for being there for me. I am so lucky to have a soul mate like him and an amazing, supporting group of family and friends.
